We had to find a removalist at short notice after the cyclone and found a true gem in these guys. They treated our stuff with care and moved everything without incident. Terms and Conditions 

By booking with our moving company, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 

 

  1. Protection of Items

All fridges and other fragile items are protected using moving blankets. Stair railings are also covered to prevent damage. 

 

  1. Insurance and Liability

If the value of the damaged item exceeds $700, insurance may be applied. 

For damages below $700, we may choose to repair the item or cover the cost ourselves. 

Insurance does not apply if: 

  • The damage involved direct action or interference by the client. 
  • The client agreed to a High Risk Job in advance. 
  • High-risk work was performed without prior approval from management and only became known during the job. 

We do not accept liability for pre-existing damage or poorly packed items packed by the client. 

Items of extraordinary value (e.g. antiques, artwork, jewellery, electronics) must be declared before the job. Otherwise, limited liability may apply. 

 

  1. High Risk Jobs

High-risk tasks include but are not limited to: moving oversized items through narrow spaces, lifting over balconies, carrying items across uneven or unsafe terrain, or accessing upper levels without proper equipment. These must be approved by a manager before the job begins. Without prior approval, insurance will not apply to any resulting damage or incident. 

 

  1. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed in writing beforehand. 

We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments (surcharge may apply). 

Late payments may incur a daily fee. 

 

  1. Parking and Fines

If the truck is parked at or near the client’s location based on the client’s instruction or agreement and a parking fine is issued during the move, the client is responsible for paying the fine. 

 

  1. Delays and Access Issues

The client is responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access at pickup and delivery locations. 

Extra charges may apply for stairs, long carries, disassembly/reassembly, or delays caused by building restrictions or client unpreparedness. 

 

  1. SMS Notifications

By booking with us, you consent to receive SMS notifications for the following: 

  • When the truck is dispatched for pickup 
  • When the truck arrives at your location 
  • When the job is completed 

 

  1. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Free rescheduling up to 24 hours before the job. 

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the job may incur a fee. 

No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in forfeiting the booking fee (if applicable). 

 

  1. Weather and Unsafe Conditions

We reserve the right to delay or cancel services in case of extreme weather or unsafe working conditions. Safety of our team and your belongings is our priority.

What is better: three men and a truck or two men and a truck?

Three men and a truck work the best for loading or unloading. One man works inside the truck or carries small items and two carry heavy furniture items. This work flow accelerates loading and unloading process around 50%. Also three men and a truck may handle a piano or heavy fridge upstairs effortlessly. At the same time during travel time two men of thee just wait.

Two men and a truck – it will be better for travel time and more time for loading or unloading.

For example:

Two men and a 40 cubic truck $179 per hour, five bedroom house with stairs, 15 min from pick up to drop off points – loading time will be 4 hours, travel time 15 min, unloading 2,5 hours. And call out the fee in 30 min.

Price for this move will be – (0,5+4+0,25+2,5)*179 = $1297,75.

Three men and a 40 cubic truck $230 per hour, five bedroom house with stairs, 15 min from pick up to drop off points – loading time will be 2,8 hours, travel time 15 min, unloading 1,75 hours. And call out the fee in 30 min. Price for this move will be – (0,5+2,8+0,25+1,75)*230 = $1219.

So moving Three men and a 40 cubic metres will be faster in 2 hours and cost less in $78.75.

Another exemple: 

Two men and a 40 cubic truck $179 per hour, for a bedroom house without stairs, 1 hour from pick up to drop off points – loading time will be 3 hours, travel time 2 hour, unloading 2 hours. And call out the fee for 30 min. Price for this move will be – (0,5+3+2+2)*179 = $1342,5.

Three men and a 40 cubic truck $230 per hour, for a bedroom house without stairs, 1 hour from pick up to drop off points – loading time will be 2.1 hours, travel time 2 hour, unloading 1,4 hours. And call out the fee for 30 min. Price for this move will be – (0,5+2,1+2+1,4)*230 = $1380.

So for this example we may see that Two men and a 40 cubic truck slower in 1,5 hours but cost less in $37,5.

Usually we propose two men and a truck because there is a small  difference with price and it is easier to arrange, but if you feel like three men and a truck just let us know.

Conclusion:

Three men and a 40 cubic truck works better for moving apartments with lifts, big houses with stairs and so on.

Two men and a 40 cubic truck works better for long distance moves, moving a small house without stairs.

Loading/unloading time depends on: stairs, is this stairs with turn and how narrow it is, distance between entrance and loading zone. Big time impact makes lifts (make sure you book lift for your move). How narrow your way and doors, how clear what items are going for pick up and what is the best place for it on drop off. How heavy, fragile, expensive your things are, because more carefully means more slowly. Is all doors and shelves on your furniture closed and etc.

Apartment, house or office move in Brisbane and Gold Coast area is hourly rate and Long distance move is fixed praise.  Single item moves in Brisbane and Gold Coast area may be as hourly rate and as fixed praise.
